Josh Adams -Wales Rugby World Cup Squad

Wales are all set to take up the challenge of the World cup 2019 in Japan. Although several players from the team were recovering from injuries and resting at home, but gave new talents an opportunity to shine. Out of many splendid players, Josh Adams definitely stands out to be one of the best Wings for Wales.

Josh Adams was truly impressive in Wales 2nd Test match over the Pumas. Adams was busy to get his hands towards the victory as much as possible. He was indeed strong while defending as he has always made correct decisions so far and his try worked quite well this time too. He knows exactly what he does each time he plays the game. During the match, he did confuse others with his tricks and proved that a player who scored highest in the Aviva Premiership in the last season made it to the try line. With only 4 starts for Wales and Adams settled in no time at Test level. He showed his consistency for Worcester in 2017-18. He has been the top try scorer and shown his courage in the Aviva Premiership.

He was withdrawn from the tour due to some political issue related to English based players. However, he did handle the situation well as he could not sit back quiet in spite of making it to the international stage. Adams showed Warren Gatland, that he could score tries and goes back to his club after entering at international level. His attitude has always been to try and ensure that the coaches have a tough time picking him.  The last six months have not been easy for Adams as he has been trying hard to emerge as a dark horse in Japan. He will definitely make it to victory and live up to the expectations of his supporters.
